Service Description
This class is ideal for expecting mothers and their families. This class is designed for first time breastfeeding families. Whether this is your first baby or your first time breastfeeding, this class is perfect for families who want to give themselves the best foundation for breastfeeding success! Partners/spouses/support persons are encouraged to attend this class with mom. Topics of discussion include: how to position and latch baby at the breast, different breastfeeding positions, increasing milk supply, breast pumps, breastfeeding while working, medications, feeding schedules, signs of successful breastfeeding, challenges to breastfeeding, community resources, milk storage, common concerns and myths, prenatal planning, back to work planning, breastfeeding products, LGBTQ breastfeeding, partner support, employer support, family support, community support, etc. Priced per person and includes all class materials. Classes are limited to mother plus 1 support person only. Mothers are encouraged to attend this class with 1 support person, but may also attend individually. Class size may be limited due to Covid-19.
